Climate Youth Resilience Nourishing young people's inner worlds in times of crises CYR works with young people and resource providers to mobilise inner-led practices that nurture their inner worlds as youth face escalating challenges. Thank you to all the young people and resilience services who connected with us through our Phase 1 survey, conversations and events to help us understand the field of inner-led change from a youth perspective. As we enter the next phase of our work to co-create resource services, strategies, policies and collaborations that serve young people, your inputs guide us to pursue: youth-facing approaches that include young people’s voices at every stage regional efforts that are context- and culturally-sensitive and that break with a one-size fits all approach meaningful, sustainable collaborations between key players inner-led practices that interweave with everyday realities and concerns emergent strategies that are agile and implementable Outputs from Phase 1: The global map features all the organisations that are engaged with our work. If you participated in CYR, you feature on the map that accompanies the Phase 1 Report and Overview. Where organisations elected not to be named, we left you off the map and are happy to add you at any time. You’ll also find the CYR playlist and slide-deck that we used during the February 29th 2024 launch-of-findings sessions. Recordings and pics from the live events will appear here soon. Mapped entities include: Youth Organisations and Networks Global Youth Organisations Hybrid Organisations that provide resilience services and work at the coalface of climate impacts Resilience Organisations Global Resilience Organisations Further Initiatives Each entry provides the organisation’s name, country location, website, and focus area, and indicates their use of inner-led practices, what types, and whether they are interested in co-creating resources to support climate resilience. Global entities are pinned in countries in which they are registered, only because the map needs a location. This in no way detracts from their global work and presence. A report, Weaving Communities of Inner-led Change, accompanies Phase 1 of this work. The report conveys what we heard and learnt from our respondents and - through young people's voices - highlights key issues in developing resource services to support inner dimension work. We hope it will add value and insight to your work, and look forward to further collaborations in Phase 2. download the report here To read an overview of the findings, click on the image below For a deeper exploration of our findings, download the full report here On 29th February we gathered to celebrate these resources and bring Phase 1 to a close.
